Wind Symphony

The Allegheny College Wind Symphony is a symphonic band of approximately 100 musicians. Membership is open by audition to all Allegheny students, regardless of academic major. The Wind Symphony performs one campus concert each semester, and serves as the parent ensemble for many of the instrumental chamber ensembles (Music 120s). The Wind Symphony is active both semesters, and it carries one semester hour of academic credit. Questions regarding the Wind Symphony should be directed to Professor Jason Delfing in the Music Department.
Wind Ensemble

Course Number: MUSIC 113 (1 credit hour)
The Allegheny College Wind Ensemble is a select ensemble chosen by audition from the Wind Symphony membership. This ensemble is active during the spring semester. The Wind Ensemble shares the spring concert with the Wind Symphony, and it carries one semester hour of academic credit. Questions regarding the Wind Ensemble should be directed to Professor Jason Delfing in the Music Department.
