Alumnus Pat DiFrancesco will return to Allegheny to conduct a roundtable discussion from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 9, in the Pelletier Collaboratory, talking with students about post-college challenges such as navigating the job market, managing expectations, remaining positive, being open to the different directions life can take you, and how to prepare now while you are still in college. Pat was a Political Science and Environmental Studies double major and Bonner Scholar while at Allegheny College. He is currently a State Campaigns Associate at Advanced Energy Economy in Washington, D.C., where he is working to develop and implement a multi-state campaign strategy to educate gubernatorial candidates about the advanced energy industry and advocate for policies and programs that will drive growth and make the energy grid more secure, clean and affordable.
