Allegheny alumnus Matthew Lacombe ’11 (National Fellow, Jefferson Scholars Foundation, University of Virginia and Ph.D. candidate, Department of Political Science, Northwestern University) will be giving a talk titled “How the NRA ‘Politically Weaponized’ Gun Owners and What Others Can Learn From It” on Wednesday, October 10, at 7 p.m. in the Tillotson Room of the Tippie Alumni Center. Lacombe’s research focus is on understanding and explaining political power in the United States. He is co-author of “Billionaires and Stealth Politics,” a book to be published that details the political preferences and behavior of U.S. billionaires. This event is sponsored by the Law & Policy Program, the Center for Political Participation, and the Education Studies Program.
