The Sustained Dialogues Club at Allegheny is hosting a Moderator Leadership Workshop at 10 a.m. March 4 and March 5 in the Pelletier Collaboratory to develop the skills used to be effective in facilitating dialogue groups on campus. Sustained Dialogues is a national organization, using dialogue as a means to promote a genuine exchange of experiences and ideas for difficult topics such as religion, race, socioeconomic status, campus climate, sexual orientation, etc. While this workshop will focus on training students to be leaders who moderate conversations, we welcome any students to sign-up who have an interest in learning more about Sustained Dialogues, since dialogue skills are important even outside of a dialogue group. If you’re interested in signing up, please fill out the Google form and you will receive more logistical information on Wednesday. If you have any questions, please e-mail mattwigm@allegheny.edu or princee@allegheny.edu.
