Allegheny Hillel seeks volunteers to help table for the Gift of Life Drive during the Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 21, from noon to 2 p.m. Gift of Life believes that every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life, and it is determined to help make that happen. Volunteers will inform people about Gift of Life as well as help interested participants get added to the bone marrow registry. Being added to the registry is as simple as swabbing your cheek and providing some basic information. Once you have done the latter, Gift of Life will analyze your swab and add you to the registry in the hope that you find a match and are able to help someone in need.
