Registration is now open for the Diversity and Inclusion Professional Development event on Friday, February 9, and Saturday, February 10, in the Tippie Alumni Center. This event is being planned in collaboration with the IDEAS Center, Alumni Affairs, Career Education and Student Diversity Organizations/Leaders. Register here. This program is strategically designed to support historically and systemically underrepresented students (students of color, first-generation, LGBTQ) by providing opportunities to build important alumni networks. It is our hope that these important networks can possibly lead to mentoring, internships, shadowing experiences, and possible employment in the future. Most importantly, we hope students will learn about different career paths and hear how alumni have dealt with career challenges, failures, unexpected changes, and achieved success.
