Dr. Pamela Runestad will deliver a research talk titled “Negotiating Meals: Food and HIV, Food and Maternity” on Monday, February 5, in Schultz East Alcove. Lunch will be provided beginning at noon; the presentation will begin promptly at 12:20 p.m. Dr. Runestad is a medical anthropologist and Japanologist whose work explores topics relating to HIV/AIDS and, more recently, clinic and hospital meals in Japan. She is currently an assistant professor at Creighton University. The campus community is invited to attend.
