Now is the time to complete your financial aid application for the 2018-2019 academic year. Allegheny’s deadline is February 15, 2018 for completing the renewal FAFSA which can be done online. Please be sure sure both student and parent have a valid FSA ID prior to starting the renewal application. Remember, filing the FAFSA and submitting the requested verification documents late may result in reduced financial aid eligibility. Please note: Prior-Prior Year (PPY) – Students and parents (as appropriate) will report income information from their 2016 tax year. This makes the FAFSA easier to complete because you’ll already have done your 2016 taxes. You can automatically import your tax information directly onto your FAFSA using the Data Retrieval Tool (DRT).
