Care for our world through the Peace Corps. Join us for this health- and environment-focused information session from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, in the Pelletier Collaboratory to learn about volunteer experiences, ask questions about service, and gain tips to guide you through the application process. Public Health Specialists are needed to address issues of global maternal and child health, nutrition and hygiene, infectious and vaccine-preventable diseases, and more. The Peace Corps also needs Environment Specialists to address conservation concerns and alternative energy issues in communities around the globe. Help improve a community’s livelihood and develop sustainable solutions while gaining global skills for your career. Working on your Peace Corps application or want to learn how to prepare? Stop by the “Appy Hour” from 10 to 11:45 a.m. in Grounds for Change.
