The Allegheny College Civic Symphony will play its spring concert on Saturday, April 28, at 3:15 p.m. in Shafer Auditorium. The ensemble will play a full program of themes from popular films and film composers, such as “The Empire Strikes Back,” “The Magnificent Seven,” “A Tribute to Henry Mancini,” and more. Elsie Campbell Hendricks ’18, will be the featured violin soloist, performing the “Theme from Schindler’s List.” Admission is free and open to the public.
