Faculty: Fall 2018 Textbook Adoptions

It is time for Fall 2018 textbook adoptions to be submitted. It is a faculty member’s responsibility to provide and link course materials (textbooks, study guides, course packs, etc.) for each course you are scheduled to teach, including those with no textbooks required, on the MBSDirect website before the start of each semester.

–You are encouraged to provide and link your course materials electronically using the MBS Direct Service Center website at https://serviecenter.mbsdirect.net.

–The Faculty Textbook Adoption instructions are posted on the Bookstore’s website under “Faculty Resources”.

–The MBS Direct Service Center website requires a username and password which were provided to you. If you didn’t receive one, or can’t find it, please follow the directions on the website or contact scronin@allegheny.edu.

–Please be sure you are entering your information in the correct course and section number. The website does not show instructor names.

–Electronic adoption submissions are due by 5 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018. After that the electronic submission option will be closed. (Don’t worry, you can still order books using the instructions below.)

–After the electronic adoption deadline (June 1, 2018) has passed, you will still be able to adopt textbooks, however you will need to provide the adoption information to scronin@allegheny.edu. Required information is:
–Department, Course Number, and Section Number
–Author
–Title
–ISBN
–Required, Optional, Recommended, or Required (Previous Purchase)
–Indicate if you are using a course pack
