Crawford County will be participating along with Pennsylvania in a multi-state weather exercise called, “Operation Atlantic Fury.” Crawford County has now for more than 20 years taken this yearly exercise as an opportunity to test its tornado warning systems. The test will occur on Tuesday, May 8, at 9 a.m. and local sirens may be heard. Allegheny College will not participate directly in this exercise in order to avoid disruption during finals week.
