Call for Proposals for Events and Themes for 2019-20

The Public Events Committee invites proposals from faculty, staff, and students for cultural events for the 2019-20 academic year. Submissions can be made here ; submission review will begin November 15. Programs should be designed to assist in connecting events to classes and to encourage student attendance. When submitting an event, please consider including other helpful information such as: performers/kind of performance, preferred dates or time of year, approximate cost, and/or expected audience. You are also welcome to suggest a “theme” for the academic year; themes suggestions that are accompanied by one or more related event suggestions are more likely to be given full consideration. Theme suggestions may be original or revisit a theme from a previous year (2015-16 or earlier). Proposals including more than three events should be emailed to the Office of Conference & Event Services at events@allegheny.edu.
