As of Wednesday, September 26, individuals calling Physical Plant or members of the Physical Plant team will need to dial 9 and the full 10-digit phone number of the person they are trying to reach. For example: to call the front desk at Physical Plant you would dial 9 814-332-5378, if you forget to dial 9 you will get a busy signal. Final planning for converting the rest of campus to the new phone system is nearing completion with a schedule being formed. The schedule has the remaining departments moving to the new phone system in late October and early November. Information will be shared with departments regarding training and specific dates that departments will start to use the new phone system once dates are confirmed.
