The Biology Department is pleased to present a research seminar by Dr. Roxana Khoshravesh from the University of Toronto: “How C4 Photosynthesis Shapes our Past and Future.” Dr. Khoshravesh will discuss engineering a form of photosynthesis into rice that will improve productivity in a warming, drying world. The seminar will be on Friday, October 19, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm in Steffee B102. Students interested in meeting Dr. Khoshravesh for lunch to discuss graduate school opportunities are invited to RSVP with <BBB@allegheny.edu> by 9 am on Friday.
