All educators are invited to this workshop to be held in the Pelletier Collaboratory on Tuesday, November 27. Lunch will be served at noon and the presentation will begin at 12:20 p.m. This workshop will help guide faculty through a process of designing and evaluating oral communication assignments by focusing on basic questions of occasion, audience and purpose. Participants will work together from a shared a classroom context to devise and evaluate oral communication assignments by determining why someone would be speaking (purpose), who they would be speaking to (audience) and when they would be speaking (occasion).
