The Bentley Hall bell will ring 13 times at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, to commemorate the 13 American men — including John D. Kelly of Crawford County — who earned the Medal of Honor for their heroic actions in the D-Day invasion during World War II. Allegheny College is one of several organizations participating in this event, which is being coordinated by the National Medal of Honor Museum, on the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
