Do you want to learn how to manage your finances? How do you develop a budget and an investment plan? Sign up for the Financial Literacy planning workshop with Professor Chris Allison on Tuesday, October 8, from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. to learn how. Please RSVP to Sarah Holt (sholt@allegheny.edu) if you would like to attend. Lunch will be provided and the workshop will take place in Quigley Auditorium. Also, the first annual Financial Literacy Challenge, hosted by the Bruce R. Thompson Center for Business & Economics, will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019. In this competition, students will develop and present a personal financial budget and investing plan appropriate for a recent college graduate. The competition will be open to all Allegheny students. There will be $5,000 in prizes and trophies awarded to student winners. Learn more here.
