The Allegheny Gateway’s International Education Office invites you to learn how to cook Haitian food through a free online class with Chef Claudy on Wednesday, May 20, at 5 p.m. ET. In honor of Haitian Heritage Month, the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh and PUMP are hosting a virtual cooking class and interactive conversation with Pittsburgh’s very own Chef Claudy Pierre, and learn about his efforts to give back to the community — from mentoring kids to addressing food security and nutrition. There will also be an opportunity to win special giveaways, so you don’t want to miss this event. A list of ingredients for each recipe will be provided after registration along with the Zoom link.
