International Education in the Allegheny Gateway would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s photo contest. We had a total of 34 entries, with topics ranging from skylines to mountain ranges to food plates to people. There were a total of 98 votes. Winners were announced on Wednesday, November 18. Coming in first place with a total of 25 votes is the New Zealand Māori tribe ceremony photo by Maya King, class of 2024. Coming in second place with 23 votes is the windmill of Utrecht, Netherlands, by Lindsey Klingberg, class of 2024. In third place with 20 votes is a photo taken on the waterfront in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, by Karen Gauriloff, class of 2022. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks again from the International Education Office to all who entered.
