Lunar New Year is celebrated in much of East Asia and Southeast Asia. It falls on February 12 this year and 2021 will be the year of the Ox! Families use this time to be together and will typically participate in traditions such as viewing fireworks, watching dragon dances, and giving/receiving red envelopes with money. While many of us cannot celebrate in person on campus or with families this year, there will be a Lunar New Year gift giveaway to the first 50 students who sign up using this link.
