Student Experimental Theatre will present “Caffeine Hit” and “Driver’s Test” on Murray Lawn on Saturday, April 24, and Sunday, April 25. Both performance on Saturday start at 6 p.m. An in-person performance will be held at 2:15 p.m. Sunday. A performance of “Driver’s Test” will be streamed on Sunday at 6 p.m. Tickets can be reserved here. Murder, manuscripts, and mistaken identity blend together in “Caffeine Hit”, a brief sketch comedy act by Sydney Emerson ’23. A coffee shop becomes the stage for a writer and a hitman to get the wrong idea … with deadly consequences. Rev up for “Driver’s Test” by Don Zolidis, a quick comedy about the worst part of adolescence: learning how to drive. With an over-enthusiastic instructor and a little reckless abandon, Gail struggles to keep her foot on the brake without spinning out. Performances are available only to members of the Allegheny College community. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person audiences are limited to 25 people. Masks are required and proper social distancing will be enforced.
