LITS is actively monitoring the situation with the PrintNightmare vulnerability recently discovered in Windows operating systems. LITS has already deployed all currently available patches issued by Microsoft and will continue to do so as they are released. Remote employees using college-owned Windows devices should connect to the VPN, launch the Start menu, then search for “Check for updates.” If you use Windows on a personal device, LITS encourages all users to install all available updates immediately using the same process as above.
