Global Citizen Scholars Cohort IV, Sojourners Christian Fellowship, Newman, and Why Not Us? have partnered to create a discussion about sexual assault in relation to the Bible. The discussion is taking place on Wednesday, October 13th from 7-8 pm in the Campus Center Room 206. You do not need to be Christian in order to come. The goal of this collaboration is to inspire conversation around the role of religion within people’s lives, how women today can use sections within the Bible to empower themselves, and the importance of allyship within and outside of religious settings. Students are welcome to bring their dinner with them if it helps to fit our discussion into a busy schedule. We can’t wait to see you there!
