The 12th annual Allegheny Energy Challenge has come to an end, and together we saved more than $5,300 and 66,000 kilowatt hours! Congratulations to the residents of Baldwin Hall and College Court for dominating the weekly results throughout the challenge, and saving the most energy. The Office of Sustainability would like to thank all the student organizations and campus partners who promoted energy savings and made the challenge possible once again this year. (We’d also like to encourage all students and staff to maintain your energy saving habits throughout the rest of the year!) As promised, Allegheny will invest all dollars saved during the Energy Challenge in the purchase and installation of more water refill stations in residence halls.
