Three keynote speakers and six papers have been confirmed for “Meeting This Moment: Exploring the State of Allegheny College’s Methodist Affiliation,” which will be held on campus March 17-18, 2023. Keynote speakers include Dr. Joanne Berger-Sweeney, president of Trinity College; Rev. Dr. Peter D. Weaver, a United Methodist bishop from Western Pennsylvania; and Melissa Spas, a 2003 Allegheny alumna who was recently named vice president for religion at Chautauqua Institution. Details about these speakers and the papers selected for presentation are available on the symposium website. Registration will be available in January.
