Crawford County will conduct the annual, statewide severe weather exercise simulating a tornado warning on Wednesday, April 19. Allegheny College will participate in the exercise by sounding campus sirens and issuing an ALERTAllegheny (e2campus) notification.

You DO NOT need to seek shelter or change your routine for this test. Prior to the test, we encourage you to review the Emergency Preparedness posters in each building or refer to the online Emergency Guides, which provide instructions on what to do in the event of an actual emergency.

The drill will start with three siren blasts lasting 60 seconds and conclude with an “all clear” signal, one siren blast lasting 30 seconds.

If you have questions, please contact the Office of Public Safety at (814) 332-3357. If you have not already done so, you may sign up to receive emergency alerts via ALERTAllegheny (e2campus) or visit the Emergency Preparedness site.
