The Director of Speaking is hiring students interested in joining the Learning Commons peer-speaking consultant staff. Peer-speaking consultants work with students in Allegheny’s Learning Commons to improve and develop a wide range of oral presentations.
The ideal speaking consultant candidate is hard-working, intellectually engaged and curious, personable, and supportive of their peers and their success. They have a sense of what makes oral communication more or less effective, even if they are not the strongest presenter.
