Are you interested in learning more about the untold history of Jewish Holocaust exiles in Ecuador? Join us for a screening of the film “An Unknown Country” followed by a panel of experts including:
- Filmmaker, Eva Zelig
- Ecuadorian, Scholar Maria Amelia Viteri
- United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Latin American Liaison, Samanta Casareto.
Dinner and the film screening will begin at 5:30 PM, and the panel will begin at 7 PM on April 2 in the Tillotson Room, Tippie Alumni Center. This event was made possible by the Spanish Teaching Assistant, Maria Analuisa, the Samuel Schick Lecture Series Fund, and the World Languages and Cultures, History, Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and Public Humanities Programs.
