Allegheny College will host Dr. Julia Clarke, Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar, for a public lecture entitled “The Secret Lives of Dinosaurs” on Monday, April 15 at 7 pm in Quigley Auditorium.

Dr. Clarke is the John A. Wilson Professor in Vertebrate Paleontology and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Clarke will share the latest scientific discoveries about dinosaurs, including how we have started to gain insight into their color and sound.

She will highlight how these discoveries have been made by looking down into the deep history of dinosaurs from the tips of branches on which “perch” living bird species.
