The Allegheny College Choirs will present their spring concert on Saturday, April 20, at 3:15 pm in Shafer Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Allegheny College Choir, Soprano-Alto Chorale, and Tenor-Bass Ensemble will each perform several works in a variety of musical styles from composers Casals, Krenek, Schubert, Parker, Luvaas, and more.
Before closing, the three choirs will join together as one collective choir of students and community members to sing their final pieces, “O Love” by Elaine Hagenberg and “Nda Wana” by Micheal Barrett.
The concert will feature numerous student soloists in vocal and percussion roles. The ensembles will be conducted by Prof. James Niblock, and Kevin Dill will accompany them on piano. Prof. Michael Dolan will join as a guest conductor.
