The 2017 International Film Festival, sponsored by the Department of Modern & Classical Languages at Allegheny College, continues on Wednesday, February 22, with “The Mermaid” from China.
Directed by Stephen Chow, “The Mermaid” is a romantic-comedy-fantasy about a billionaire developer who falls in love with a mermaid sent to assassinate him for threatening their undersea ecosystem.
The International Film Festival takes place every Wednesday evening through March 15, with screenings at 7:00 PM at The Movies @ Meadville, 11155 Highline Drive, Meadville PA 16335.
All films are free and open to the public.
A free shuttle for Allegheny students is available, departing Brooks Walk at North Main St at 6:10 and 6:30.
