Upperclass students living in College Owned Houses (Independent Living Spaces) have the benefit of off campus living while remaining connected to the college. Allegheny provides oversight of the maintenance of these properties while The Office of Residence Life works to keep students engaged with campus activities and events.
Approximately 160 students live in over 30 units. Just under half are connected to the Special Interest Housing Program and the rest are assigned through the Room Selection process each spring.
College Owned Houses can be found on the following streets surrounding the Allegheny College campus:
Loomis Street, Park Avenue, Prospect Street, E College Street, Sherman Street, and North Main Street
