Location: Schultz Hall
Looking for a quiet place to work? Are you the type that needs to have minimal distractions to get your work done? Looking for other students with similar interests and needs? A Quiet Study Hall could be the place for you. To support the Academic Mission of the College, the Office of Residence Life has set aside Quiet Study spaces in our buildings to ensure we meet the needs of all of our students.
As with all residence hall floors, students have input in how the floor is governed. The noise level of this hall will be assessed and evaluated by the community on a regular basis to allow for consensus. These floors also engage residents by offering academic programs. Time management, testing tips and writing tutors are made available for the residents of these communities. Since many of these floors are a mixture of new and returning students, older, more experienced residents also tend to make good resources for first-year students.
