Don’t be afraid to go somewhere new and explore a different place. You don’t know what you might be missing out on. Also, you want to go somewhere where you feel comfortable and feel you belong.
A Favorite Allegheny Memory:
Orchesis; it attracts many old and new dancers who not only dance, but do other activities and come from multiple fields of studies and show that even though we have unusual combinations, we still find something we all love.

I conducted research on the emotional experience of adoption for same-sex couples in the Pittsburgh-Metro area.
Why I Came to Allegheny:
I wanted a new fresh start and I wanted a small school where I would have a close connection to my professors, peers, and community.
