Allegheny College Scholarships

Allegheny College Trustee Scholarship

Allegheny’s Trustee Scholarships are awarded to students who have balanced academic excellence with other distinctive activities while in high school.

Scholarship Amounts: $31,000 – 42,000 per year (up to $168,000 total over 4 years).

Renewal: Trustee Scholarships renew automatically for up to four years of full-time enrollment at Allegheny or in an Allegheny-sponsored off-campus study program. Because Allegheny encourages students to challenge themselves in the classroom and explore our whole curriculum, no minimum GPA is required to renew the scholarship.

Eligibility and Selection: Trustee Scholarships recognize a student’s academic excellence along with their leadership, co-curricular involvement, community engagement, and other experiences and talents. Approximately half of applicants receive a Trustee Scholar, with only a small number receiving the top scholarship each year. First-year and transfer students are eligible to receive a Trustee Scholarship.

To Apply: Consideration for the Trustee Scholarship is automatic when students apply for admission under Early Decision (by November 1), Early Action (by December 1 and February 1) and Regular Decision (by February 15) methods. Trustee Scholarship award recipients will be notified via mail regarding their eligibility and amount of award. Students must be registered as full-time, degree-seeking students to qualify for this scholarship.
