Enjoy a Campus Tour & Interview
All scheduled visits include a walking tour of campus, led by a current Allegheny College student, and the opportunity to meet with an Admissions representative. A conversation with a representative is a great way for you to learn more about Allegheny’s distinctions and for us to get to know more about you. Then we’ll customize the campus tour just for you. Our student guides give you inside information on everyday life from a student’s point of view. Tours last approximately one hour.
Attend a Summer Research Presentation
Each summer students stay on campus to conduct research with faculty members. Once a week, three groups present their research to the campus community during lunchtime. Presentations will be each Tuesday during the summer, from 12 Noon to 1:30 p.m., from June 10 through August 15. 2014 Schedule
Meet with a Coach to Discover Athletics & Recreation
If you’re interested in one of our 21 varsity teams, club and intramural sports, or outdoor adventures, schedule a meeting with a coach or member of our athletics department.
Attend a Class (during the academic semesters)
While scheduling your visit, share your interest in attending an Allegheny class, or request to sit down one-on-one with a faculty member to learn more about your academic interests.
Discuss Financial Aid
Our admissions representatives will have information about financial aid, but your campus visit is also a good time to request to meet with one of our financial aid representatives if you have specific questions. They take the mystery out of the process and offer helpful affordability counseling to all families.
Stay Overnight – Special for Seniors!
High school seniors can stay overnight in one of our residence halls with a host Allegheny student. You’ll experience campus life first-hand and discover what it’s like to be a full-time member of the Allegheny community. If your parents plan to stay overnight, we’ll suggest accommodations in town.
