Work in Ecuador as a volunteer with Sustainable Roots

Volunteers work in two areas, education and environment. Educational volunteers teach English in the elementary school and run after school classes (creative and English) for all ages in the community. Environmental volunteers take care of gardens, an aquaponics system and participate in a reforestation project.  They run workshops with community members about these topics. All volunteers participate in community work days called “mingas” throughout their stays.
