An Automatic External Defibrillator (A.E.D.) is a portable defibrillator designed to be automated such that it can be used by persons without substantial medical training who are responding to a cardiac emergency. If someone is having a cardiac emergency, remove the device from the cabinet, push the green button and follow the simple, step-by-step instructions it provides. Have someone call Public Safety (814) 332-3357, and 911 for additional help. Your quick action could save a life.
