Registration Reminders
- Advisor approval is required for all registration changes.
- Beginning on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 Add Authorization is required to register for all 14-week and Module A courses.
- Signature approval for 14-week and Module A courses will no longer be valid.
- Students may register for 20 credits without Overload Approval
- Registration for 21 credits requires advisor approval. Please complete the Overload Approval Form (located on the Registrar Forms Online link), which will then be sent to your advisor(s). You may need to meet with your advisor(s) before they can approve the overload. They may also deny the overload.
- Registration for 22 or more credits requires both your advisor’s approval and permission from the Registrar, who will review the information on the Overload Approval Form along with you academic record and will assess your level of preparedness for the requested overload. You may be required to meet with the Registrar in person, and permission for course overloads may be denied.
- There will be a fee for 25 or more credits. Fee will be equal to the per-credit tuition fee for that semester. Contact Financial Services for fee information.
- Friday, September 4, 2026 at Noon is the deadline for Overload Forms for 14-week and Module A courses.
- Course Conflicts
- Students are permitted to take classes that have less than 20 minute overlaps in time with the permission of faculty and if they complete the Course Conflict Form (located on the Registrar Forms Online link). Please be aware that if the conflict is more than 20 minutes it WILL NOT be approved, even if the instructors are okay with the overlap.
- Students will not be able to enroll in courses with time conflicts via Self-Service. If the conflict is approved the Registrar’s Office will register the student for the course that conflicts (i.e. the student should register for one of the courses – the Registrar’s Office will register for the other course after the conflict is approved.
- Please consult the faculty teaching the course for which you have a conflict before you submit this form.
